BEACON AVENUE SOUTH BRIDGE REPAIR

The City of Tukwila is rehabilitating
the Beacon Ave. S. Bridge to make
it safer and to extend the life of the
bridge. This is the bridge on Beacon
Ave. S. that straddles S. Ryan Way.
The project includes:
Removing & replacing the bridge
deck
Adding a protective coating of
internal structural steel
The project began on July 24, 2017,
with an estimated completion date
of January, 2018. The bridge will
be closed from late August through
December, 2017.
90% of this project is grant funded.

BRIDGE CLOSED
The Beacon Ave. S. Bridge will be
closed from late August through
December, 2017. Detour routes
will be posted. Drivers will be
notified of final closure via mobile
electronic signs strategically
located near the bridge.
