On Friday, August 4, 2017 at approximately 7:10PM, officers responded to multiple calls of a shooting
that occurred in the 17000 block of Southcenter Pkwy. Witnesses reported that subjects in a dark
SUV type vehicle were shooting at another vehicle, which was described as a sedan. The SUV drove
off northbound on Southcenter Pkwy and the sedan drove east on Wig Blvd. An innocent bystander
was sitting in their vehicle at the intersection and that vehicle was struck by a bullet in the
windshield. The occupant of that vehicle was not injured.
At this time, there are no descriptions of the occupants of the sedan or SUV.
Tukwila officers are still out at the scene collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses. We are
asking that anyone with information contact the Tukwila Police Department dispatch non -emergency
