Steve Lancaster From: John McFarlan Re: Waiver of Permitting Fees for South Central School District Date: April 3, 1996 The City and South Central School District have a working agreement regarding the waiving of fees for the joint use of facilities. In addition, the City and the District have a mutual interest in the appropriate and careful utilization of public funds, especially in that the constituency for both entities is largely the same. In light of this, it has been determined to be in the best interests of the public to waive permitting fees for the relocation of three portable buildings on District property. This memorandum shall serve as authorization to you to waive those fees. That authorization is granted specifically by' Mayor Rants. Additionally, I will be developing an interlocal agreement regarding the future treatment of permitting fees relating to activities of the District. We will likely limit any fee collection to actual dollar costs to the City due to external plan review.
