This facility will be used primarily for two things: 1. A portable trash compactor on steel wheels will be located on the east side of the concrete slab. It is approximately 6'X10'X20'. 2. The street sweep container will be stored on the west side of the slab. This area will be used to decant water from such things as the concrete slurry contained in barrels and the street sweep container. This water is tested by our environmental group prior to being emptied into the decant system. The decant system is designed to remove oil and solids. The decanted water eventually flows out to the sanitary sewer. General notes 4 and 5 on sheet C80 indicate the type of fill material to be use for fill/backfill at the site during construction. However, we are considering using recycled crushed glass as an alternate backfill material for a portion of the backfill. The recycled glass will be used if approved by the soils engineer.
