Memorandum TO: Jack Pace ".4 FROM: John Jimerson RE: SEPA - Unite rcel Service DATE: June 14, 1995 Project File No. E95-0013 Project Description: The property is located at 550 Andover Park West. The proposal is to replace an existing fueling facility with new a new facility. The replacement components will be placed where the existing components are located. They include a 12,000 gallon UST to replace a 10,000 gallon UST and new pump island components. In addition, a new 36' x 30' canopy is proposed to cover the fueling islands, and an oil/water separator will be installed. Agencies With Jurisdiction: Department of Ecology. Metro. Puget Sound Air Pollution Control Authority. Comments to SEPA Checklist: None. Summary of Primary Impacts/Mitigation: The project will be an upgrade to an existing facility. The new tank and pipes will be double walled, thus reducing the possibility of contaminating the soil. Storm water improvements include an oil/water separator and a canopy which will help control contaminants that spill during fueling. Per PSAPCA requirements, vapor recovery systems are included with the fueling equipment. Recommended Threshold Determination: Determination of Non -Significance.
