ORDINANCE NO. 449
AN ORDINANCE establishing a speed limit zone on the West
Valley Highway in the City of Tukwila.
The City Council of the City of Tukwila do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: That a forty (40) mile per hour speed limit zone
shall be established on the West Valley Highway in the general vicinity
City Limits
of the Renton Tukwila lammax and then in a generally northerly direc-
tion for approximately eight- tenths (8/10) of a mile.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance is subject to the approval of the
State Highway Commission pursuant to RCW 47.24.020 and shall become
law after State approval is filed with the City of Tukwila.
SECTION 3: Every person convicted by the Municipal Court of
the City of Tukwila of a violation of this Ordinance shall be punished
by a fine of not more than Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) or imprison-
ment in the City Jail for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days, or
both such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION 4: Any and all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
PASSED by the City Council this 7th day of February, 1966.
