Council approved this budget as submitted.

BUDGET HEARING: Council President Hill opened the Budget Hearing. The following
funds were discussed:
City Council: Council reviewed their Budget requests. Mabel Harris requested that
funding for PERS be added to the budget as she would like to continue
her coverace once she assumes her council position. Council concurred.
The City Council Budget was approved as discussed.
Mayor Bauch discussed the change from the Professional Services
account to the Personnel Services portion of this budget. Council
approved Budget as submitted.
Planning Commission:Planning Commission Budget approved as submitted.
Park Commission: The increase from $450 to $750 is due to the increase in the
number of Commissioners from 3 to 5. Budget approved as submitted.
Arts Commission: Approved as submitted.
Contingency Fund: No change here. Fund balance is considerably lower than that allowed
by the law.

Redemption:
These funds must be appropriated within six months of the receipt of
the check. The City has designated the use for wages for personnel
in the Recreation Department.
Forward Thrust Monies used to pay off the Bonds on the South 144th
Et Al Project. Councilman Hill asked to have this Fund explained when
more members of the Council are present.
Councilman Hill stated that all meetings will begin at 7:00 P.M. and
end no later than 10:00 P.M.. Thursday's meeting will be held at
Fire Station #1.
