AN QORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TU1 IL,A REGULATING T DISCHARGE
OF FIREARMS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA
AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 109.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TUKW AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge
any firearm of any kind within the corporate limits of the Town of
Tukwila, except as specifically set forth in Section 2 of this
ordinance.
SECTION 11. Upon approval of the Town Council, organized gun
and sportsman's clubs, carnivals, shooting galleries and target ranges
may be granted permits to operate for specific periods of time and in
specific areas. Such permits may be obtained from the Town Marshal
and may be withdrawn at the discretion of the Town Council.
SECTION 111. The discharge of rifles and pistols is prohibited
except on authorized target ranges.
SECTION 1V. All Game Laws of the State of Washington are hereby
adopted by reference and shall be observed.
SECTION V. Any person, firm, co- partnership or corporation
convicted of violation of any of the provisions of this Ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine of
not more than THREE HUNDRED dollars N300.00) or imprisonment for
a term not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both such fine and
imprisonment.
SECTION V1. Ordinance No. 109 and all other ordinances or parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION V11. If any section, paragraph, sentence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance is declared unconstitutional or invalid for
any reason, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of this ordinance.
SECTION Vill. This ordinance shall be in full force from and
after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
PASSED the Town Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 5th
day of October, 1959.
