We would also like to recommend appointment of two new members to the Sister Cities Committee. Equity and Diversitv Commission: Position No. 1 is currently held by Joan Hernandez, representing the City Council. Since she is resigning from her position on City Council at the end of the year, she would like to be reappointed to a community position on the Equity and Diversity Commission. This will leave Position No. 1 vacant and available for any interested Council member. Joan's new term will expire July 31, 2013. Position No. 2, currently held by Kathleen Gantz. Her term will expire on July 31, 2011 and I am recommending her reappointment. Her new term will expire July 31, 2013. Position No. 8, currently held by Aaron Draganov. His term will expire on July 31, 2011 and I am recommending his reappointment. His new term will expire July 31, 2013. Sister Cities Commission Position 3. This position has been vacant since December 31, 2010. 1 am recommending that this position be filled by Domenic Baker. (application attached). Her term would expire December 31, 2014. Position 4. This position has been vacant since December 31, 2010. 1 am recommending that this position be filled by Patricia Timm. (application attached). Her term would expire December 31, 2014.
