AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA APPLYING A ZONING TO AN
AREA ANNEXED TO THE TOWN OF TUKWILA UNDER C- RDINANCE NO. 282,
AND AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 285.
WHEREAS,. on September 21, 1959, the Tukwila Town Council,
acting upon the recommendation of the Tukwila Planning Commission,
applied a zoning .of ICI -1, Light Industry, as defined in Tukwila Town
Ordinance No. 251, to the area annexed to the Town of Tukwila under
Ordinance No. 282, and amended by Ordinance I'o. 285.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of Tukwila
as follows:._
SECTION 1. That M -1, Light Industry Zoning, as defined in
Tukwila Town Ordinance- No. 251, be applied to the tract of land
annexed to Tukwila under Ordinance No. 282, and as amended by Ordi-
nance No. 285 and described as follows:
A portion of the North s of the Southwest g of Section 24,
Township 23 North, -Range 4 East W.M.
Beginning at the intersection of the Southwesterly margin of
Pacific Highway, now known as Secondary State Highway No. 1 -L,
with the centerline of White River, also known as Green River;
thence Northeasterly along said centerline (which is contiguous
to the Southeasterly limits of the Town of Tukwila) to intersect
the Southwesterly margin of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul
Railway Right of Way; thence Southeasterly along said Right of 41 Way to the Northerly margin of Nelsen Place; thence Southwesterly
and Southerly along said Northerly margin, and said Northerly
margin produced Southerly, to the Southerly margin of South 153rd
Street; thence Easterly along said Southerly margin to the North-
westerly margin of State No. 1 -L Right of Way line; thence
Southwesterly along said Highway Right of Way to the most South-
erly corner of that certain tract of land conveyed to Taylor
Campbell et tux by deed recorded in volume 2312 of deeds, page 533,
said point being on the Easterly margin of the Seattle- Tacoma
Puget Sound Right of Way; thence in a straight line to a point of
intersection of the Southwesterly line of said State Highway No.1 -L
with the Northerly city limits of the Town of Tukwila as noted in
Ordinance No. 278 of said town; thence Northwesterly along said
Southwesterly margin of State Highway No. 1 -L to point of
beginning;

all of which lies within the corporate limits of the Town of Tukwila,

its passage, appraval_and publication as provided by law.
