I am recommending appointments as follows. A copy of the application for each applicant is attached. Community Policing Citizens Advisory Board Position #8: This position is currently vacant. I am recommending the appointment of Carol Pizano. Carol is a Program Manager for the Tukwila School District and has previous experience with the City of Santa Clara Community Policing. The term for this position expires December 31, 2018. Equity and Social Justice Commission Position #4: This position is an education field position and is currently vacant. I am recommending the appointment of Nichelle Page. Nichelle is a Quality Engagement Specialist for the Tukwila School District. The term for this position expires December 31, 2018. Library Advisory Board Position #6: This is a new position added to the Library Advisory Board with the municipal code updates done earlier this year. I am recommending the appointment of Verna Seal to this position. The term for this position expires December 31, 2018.
