Premises and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or plant growth in excess of 12 inches. Noxious weeds shall be prohibited. Weeds shall be defined as all grasses, annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or shrubs provided, however, this term shall not include cultivated flowers and gardens. Upon failure of the owner or agent having charge of a property to cut and destroy weeds after service of a notice of violation, they shall be subject to prosecution in accordance with 106.3 and as prescribed by the authority having jurisdiction. Upon failure to comply with the notice of violation, any duly authorized employee of the jurisdiction or contractor hired by the jurisdiction shall be authorized to enter upon the property in violation and cut and destroy the weeds growing thereon, and the costs of such removal shall be paid by the owner or agent responsible for the property. The exterior property is overgrown with uncultivated plants and weeds over 12 inches. Cut back and remove all uncultivated plants and weeds over 12 inches from the property: 8/10/2017 Violation # 2 Code Reference: Corrective Action: JUNK VEHICLES IPMC 302.8 No inoperative or unlicensed motor vehicle shall be parked, kept or stored on any premises except inside a structure. There are 3 apparently inoperable and unlicensed (junk) vehicles parked or stored in the driveway. Remove all junk vehicles from the property or store them inside an enclosed structure such as a garage. Compliance Date: 8/10/2017 If you have received this Notice, the City has determined that a violation exists on the above property. In order to bring the property into compliance, you must complete the corrective action(s) above by the compliance date indicated. If you fail to take the corrective action above, the City may issue a civil infraction or a Violation Notice and Order, pursuant to Tukwila Municipal Code 8.45.050. You may be fined penalties of up to $500 per day per violation for each day that the violation exists, under the provisions set forth in Tukwila Municipal Code 8.45.100(A)(1).
