City of Tukwila NOTICE OF FINAL ACTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tukwila City Council is considering final action on Monday, November 6, 2017 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila, WA on the following: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING AND PROVIDING FOR THE ACQUISITION OF INTERESTS IN LAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF COMPLETING THE PUBLIC SAFETY PLAN PROJECTS, PROVIDING FOR CONDEMNATION, APPROPRIATION, TAKING OF LAND AND PROPERTY RIGHTS NECESSARY THEREFOR; PROVIDING FOR PAYMENT THEREOF AND DIRECTING THE INITIATION OF APPROPRIATE PROCEEDINGS IN THE MANNER PROVIDED BY LAW AND FOR SAID CONDEMNATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. After an extensive review process, the City recently selected the locations for these new buildings and plans to build the new Justice Center on a site near you (see area in blue on the map). The City Council will discuss, and may take action on, the proposed purchase of property for the Public Safety Plan at its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. The public is welcome to attend. The meeting will be held at Tukwila City Hall, located at 6200 Southcenter Boulevard.
