Special Meeting
October 23, 2017 — 7:00 P.M.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Ekberg called the Special Meeting of the Tukwila City Council to order at 8:54 p.m. directly
following the Committee of the Whole meeting.
ROLL CALL
Andy Youn, Deputy City Clerk, called the roll of the Council. Present were Councilmembers Joe Duffie,
Dennis Robertson, Verna Seal, De'Sean Quinn, Kate Kruller, Thomas McLeod.
MOVED BY QUINN, SECONDED BY SEAL TO EXCUSE THE ABSENCE OF COUNCILMEMBER
HOUGARDY FROM THE MEETING. MOTION CARRIED 6-0.

Deputy City Clerk.
CONSENT AGENDA
a. Approval of Minutes: 10/2/17 (Regular); 10/9/17 (Special)
b. Approval of Vouchers #376088; #376089-376188 in the amount of $2,404,694.02.
c. Authorize the Mayor to sign an agreement with King County Department of Transportation, Metro
Transit Division for the Transportation Demand Management Program for 2017-2019 in the amount of
$75,000.00.

d. Authorize the Mayor to sign an Interlocal Agreement with the Washington State Department of
Transportation (WSDOT) for Transportation Demand Management Program Allocation for 2017-2019 in
the amount of $74,205.00.

e. Authorize the Mayor to sign an Interagency Agreement with the Washington State Internet Crimes
Against Children Task Force acting through the City of Seattle.

f. Authorize the Mayor to accept the National Criminal History Improvement (NCHIP) grant to add one
temporary FTE in the Police Records Unit, in the amount of $86,029.00.

MOVED BY DUFFIE, SECONDED BY ROBERTSON THAT THE CONSENT AGENDA BE APPROVED
AS SUBMITTED. MOTION CARRIED 6-0.
