Council Chambers M I N U T E S CALL TO ORDER Mayor Bauch, presiding, called the Special Meeting of the Tukwila City Council to order. ROLL CALL OF LIONEL C. BOHRER, MABEL J. HARRIS, GEORGE D. HILL, DANIEL SAUL, DWAYNE D. COUNCIL MEMBERS TRAYNOR, GARY L. VAN DUSEN, Council President. BID AWARD City Hall Mayor Bauch announced that the purpose of the Special Meeting called Landscape tonight is to consider the Bid Award for the planting and irrigation of the new city hall site. He cited a letter dated September 1, 1978, from David McNeal of Jongejan, Gerrard Associates, Inc. that states, "After reviewing all of the bids and discussing the project with the low bidder, we recommend you accept the low bid and alternates 1 and 2 of Evergreen Services Corporation. Their base bid ($95,824.00) and both additive alternate bids #1, Stairway $1,837.00/ #2, Maintenance $5,180.00) fall well within our April 7, 1978, Cost Estimate." MOVED BY VAN DUSEN, SECONDED BY HILL, THAT THE BID BE AWARDED TO THE LOW BIDDER, EVERGREEN SERVICES CORPORATION FOR THE BASE BID OF $95,824.00 PLUS ALTERNATE #1, $1,837.00 AND ALTERNATE #2, $5,180.00.
