Per the International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code and/or the National Electric Code, every permit issued by the Building Division under the provisions of these codes shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building or work authorized by such permit has not begun within 180 days from the issuance date of such permit, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work has begun for a period of 180 days. Please address the following comments in an itemized format with revised plans, specifications and/or other applicable documentation. (GENERAL NOTE) PLAN SUBMITTALS: (Min. size 11x17 to maximum size of 24x36; all sheets shall be the same size. New revised plan sheets shall be the same size sheets as those previously submitted.) (If applicable) Structural Drawings and structural calculations sheets by a registered engineer shall have a current signed stamp -seal. Architectural design sheets and documents by a registered architect shall also have a current signed stamp -seal. 1. The scope of work for this permit appears to be specifically for cutting the louver hole and replacing the door. This information is basically shown on two sheets where the remainder of the plan set is for mechanical. It would be less confusing for the inspectors and assist in the plan review if only the sheets that pertain to this building permits construction work were submitted with the specific building permit details clouded. The front sheet specifying the scope of work needs to be clearer to separate out the mechanical from this building permits work. Please provide clarification with the relative sheets for the building permit. 2. The louver schedule notes reference "Reinforce opening per structural". Also the same notes reference "See Mechanical for louver specifications". Provide the engineers structural specifications and details that were not included with the plan set. For the mechanical reference, provide the sheet number that reference louver specifications and possibly that mechanical sheet. 3. A note: for the forthcoming mechanical permit, special inspections shall be required for pressure vessels and boilers regulated by Chapter 70.79 RCW. This information with the agency providing the inspections shall be provided on that permits drawings or cover sheet. This is for your information only.
