A structural inspection is required for all signs when Installation Is complete. The applicant or installer Is required to call the Planning
Division at 431-3670 for a final inspection.
It is the responsibility of the installer to obtain the electrical permit and inspections from the Washington State Department of Labor
and Industries at (206) 248-8630.

Dear Ms. Malara:
Based on our conversation yesterday the following information is required in order to
further review your application:
1. Special Permission sign permit application is required pursuant to Tukwila Municipal
Code (TMC) 19.32.80. Please refer to the attached handout on Special Permission.
Two sets of drawings must be submitted with the Special Permission application.
2. Also, pursuant to TMC 19.32.80, total area of all signs shall not exceed 32 square
feet. The proposal to install two wall signs: one 40 square feet and the other 8 square
exceeds the maximum allowed sign area requirement. PIease revise the drawings to
meet the maximum sign area requirement of 32 square feet.

Your waiver request has been granted, with the following conditions:
• You will maintain signage by having the trade name, Western Cascade, painted on the exterior
of the'building and maintaining signs clearly visible to customers, in the building interior,
indicating the nature of busines you are licensed for, such as "Vehicle Sales."
• Original books, files and records must be easily accessible to the department's representative
during normal business hours
• All other place of business requirements must be maintained
• Your business may be randomly inspected a minimum of once a year to insure compliance with
this waiver's conditions
• You will continue to maintain your unique dealer license operation, a secondary business
operation, of primarily selling vehicle chassis, usually specially ordered for specific modification
• You will not usually maintain inventory for sale, except by infrequent consigned vehicles or
vehicles taken in on trade
• You will not be eligible for any more dealer plates other the two vehicle dealer plates currently
issued and two miscellaneous dealer plates currently issued.
• You must post this waiver letter and your Washington State Motor Vehicle Dealer's License and
Master Business License on your web page or by a link
This waiver shall be subject to reconsideration and cancellation if the unique and unusual circumstances
that warrant a consideration change, if complaints are received by the department, or if conditions
imposed by the granting of this waiver are not maintained.
