RE: Sign Permit S03-051
Dear Mr. Woyvodich:
On August 28, 2003, the City issued a sign permit for Benny's Riverside Inn located at 14060
Interurban Avenue. The purpose of the sign permit was to remedy the illegal sign
modifications that were made to the signs on the property.
Sign permits are valid for six months after being issued. The sign permit that you currently
have will expire on February 28, 2004. Please keep this date in mind so that all work can be
completed before the expiration date.
City staff has worked with your business extensively in helping your business with its
signage needs while at the same time ensuring that City Code is met. City Staff met with you
at the site and on numerous occasions at City Hall.
With it being early February, City Staff is concerned that sign violations on the property will
not be remedied by the expiration date. Should the permit expire, code enforcement actions
will resume.

Dear Mr. Bowen:
Attached you will find the sign permit, permit conditions, and approved plans for the relocation
of the Benny's Riverside Inn pole sign.
Please be aware that the permit will expire on February 24, 2004. The proposed work and all
conditions that have been placed on the permit must be completed by the expiration date.
The business owner should be aware that the code enforcement case is still open and will not be
closed until all work is completed. When the work is completed please call (206) 431-3670 to
request a final inspection.

A final inspection is required for all signs when installation is complete. The applicant or installer is required to call the Planning
Division at 431-3670 for a final inspection.
It is the responsibility of the installer to obtain the electrical permit and inspections from the Washington State Department of Labor
and Industries at (206) 248-6630.
