The purpose of the sign permit was to remedy the illegal sign modifications that were made to the signs on the property. Sign permits are valid for six months after being issued. The sign permit that you currently have will expire on February 28, 2004. Please keep this date in mind so that all work can be completed before the expiration date. City staff has worked with your business extensively in helping your business with its signage needs while at the same time ensuring that City Code is met. City Staff met with you at the site and on numerous occasions at City Hall. With it being early February, City Staff is concerned that sign violations on the property will not be remedied by the expiration date. Should the permit expire, code enforcement actions will resume.
