Dear Mr. Plough:
Enclosed you will find the sign permit (S03-067) for Sleep Country Plus, located at 235
Strander Blvd. The sign permit is only for the wall sign. As I noted on the phone, a sign
permit is required for the replacement of the sign face for the freestanding sign.
I have enclosed a copy of the City's most recent edition of our sign code. It was recently
amended in January of 2003. I have also enclosed a new sign permit application.

INSPECTIONS
If the sign needs structural review, the applicant or installer is required to call the Building Division at 431-3670 for footing or bracket
inspections. Footing inspections must take place before concrete is poured. Bracket inspections must take place before sign is
installed.
A structural inspection is required for all signs when installation is complete. The applicant or installer is required to call the Planning
Division at 431-3670 for a final inspection.
It is the responsibility of the installer to obtain the electrical permit and inspections from the Washington State Department of Labor
and Industries at (206) 248-6630.
SIGN PERMIT APPLICATION IS VALID FOR 180 DAYS AFTER ISSUANCE.

Illuminated Channel Display on an Exterior Raceway
Specifications:
Fabricate and install one set of illuminated channel letters "Sleep Country" with red acrylic faces and white channel returns. Illuminate internally with a grid of clear red neon as required.
"Plus" copy will have yellow acrylic faces with a red vinyl border, and red returns. Illuminate intemally with Designer White neon. Installation will be on exterior raceways, painted to match buildling wall.
The wordbox will be painted royal blue, and will have a white Texan face that will be decorated first surface. Background will be royal blue with yellow copy. Illuminate internally as required.
