Dear Mr. Johnson:
The Department of Community Development received your sign permit
application on July 29, 2004. The proposed sign does not meet the wall area
requirements laid out in Table 1 of section 19.32.140 of the Tukwila Municipal
Code.
You have noted on the application that the exposed building face where the sign
will be located is 128 square feet. The maximum size for a wall sign for this wall
area calculation would be five percent of the wall area, which would be 6.4 square
feet (128*.05=6.4).
New plans must be submitted for a sign that will meet the area requirements of the
City's sign code. -
