Dear Mr. Stoddard:
The City of Tukwila received your sign permit application on October 20, 2004. As of
November 1, 2004, the application has been deemed complete for the necessary submittal
requirements.
Staff has conducted a review of the application and proposed sign B does not meet the area
restrictions laid out in TMC 19.32.140 Table 1. You have noted on the application that the
wall area where the sign will be placed is 960 square feet. For this size wall the sign could
not be greater than 43.4 square feet.
Please resubmit plans for a sign that will meet the City's wall area restrictions.

INSPECTIONS
If the sign needs structural review, the applicant or installer is required to call the Building Division at 431-3670 for footing or bracket
inspections. Footing inspections must take place before concrete is poured. Bracket inspections must take place before sign is
installed.
A structural inspection is required for all signs when installation is complete. The applicant or installer is required to call the Planning
Division at 431-3670 for a final inspection.
It is the responsibility of the installer to obtain the electrical permit and inspections from the Washington State Department of Labor and
Industries at (206) 248-6630.
