After letter sent from code enforcement, the lettering was removed from the aluminum panels above the northern entrances to bring them into conformance (see below). Comments on Macy's request for 4 additional signs located over the entrances on the north, west, and east sides of the building. The proposed signs are 7 sq ft and they are intended to replace the original "Bon Marche" signs. TMC 19.32.150 allows/limits each business in the mall 4 signs (not more then one sign for any one exposed building face). The new store brand is Black lettering with a red star. Other businesses in the mall (including Westfield Shoppingtown) have been allowed only white lettering for their signs. None of the other department stores with exterior entrances have signs over their doors. All have decal type lettering on their doors. As of 28 March, 2005 Macy's has decaled branding on each of the exterior doors and has removed the preexisting signage over the entrances. All images were taken on 28 March by Kathryn Devlin. I will pass this on to the higher ups here for their :thoughts. I have got the web site- Thank you. Two of the signs are only face replacements. Our preliminary research showed that we don't need a permit for those.(E07 and E08). Some cities have also let us keep our old number because it's not a change of ownership or store, but just a renaming/rebranding of the store. Any of these ideas ok?
