Hi Paul,
To recap our earlier conversation, the maximum allowable sign area for a wall sign at the UPS Store site
(150 Andover Park West) is 26.505 square feet, based on an exposed building face area of 537.625
square feet, according to Tukwila Municipal Code, Section 19.32.150 B, Table 1.
A 50% increase in the sign area is allowed for each doubling of the required building setback, according to
a Type 2 Special Permission Decision, up to a maximum of 6% of the wall area upon which the sign will
be mounted. Based on an exposed building face of 537.625 square feet, the maximum area allowed
according to a Special Permission decision is 32.25 square feet.

The Special Permission application is available on our website at

A final inspection is required for all signs when installation is complete. The applicant or installer is required to call the Planning
Division at 431-3670 for a final inspection.
It is the responsibility of the installer to obtain the electrical permit and inspections from the Washington State Department of Labor
and industries at (206) 248.6630.
(NOTE: IF A FINAL INSPECTION HAS NOT BEEN REQUESTED WITHIN 180 DAYS OF PERMIT ISSUANCE THE PERMIT WILL EXPIRE.)
