Everett, WA 98203 RE: Legacy Southcenter Place 16400 Southcenter Pkwy S07-010 Dear Mr. Voorhees: This letter is to follow up on the previous phone conversations that we have had regarding the signage at the above address. The current sign proposal does not meet the applicable sign provisions of the Tukwila Municipal Code (TMC). 1. TMC 19.32.140 (E)(1) only permits one freestanding sign for the site. In order to qualify for an additional freestanding sign, a second building would have to be located on the property. Thus, one of the two signs must be removed. 2. Proposed sign number 2 exceeds the height standards found in TMC 19.32.070. A freestanding sign must be setback one foot for every foot in height. The sign height is measured at ground level from the lowest point within five feet of the sign (TMC 19.08.100). Please revise the application to address these comments.
