Dear Mr. Geglia:
The City received your sign permit application on February 23, 2007 to locate two wall signs at
17770 Southcenter Pkwy. The application was deemed complete for the necessary information to
begin review of the application on February 28, 2007.
A review of the application shows that the proposed sign area for proposed sign 2 will not meet
the applicable size provisions for walls signs laid out in the Tukwila Municipal Code (TMC).
The exposed building face (EBF) where the sign will be located is 1,766.5 square feet. This EBF
area would be. permitted to have a wall sign no greater than 72.99 square feet, thus the proposed
sign of 98.5 square feet is too large.
Please revise your sign permit application to address the comments noted in this letter.

INSPECTIONS
If the sign needs structural review, the applicant or installer is required to call the Building Division at 431-3670 for footing or bracket
inspections. Footing inspections must take place before concrete is poured. Bracket inspections must take place before sign is
installed.
A structural inspection is required for all signs when installation is complete. The applicant or installer is required to call the Planning
Division at 431-3670 for a final inspection.
It is the responsibility of the installer to obtain the electrical permit and inspections from the Washington State Department of Labor and
Industries at (206) 248-6630.
SIGN PERMIT APPLICATION IS VALID FOR 180 DAYS AFTER ISSUANCE.
