Prior notice having been given in accordance with the requirements
of 35A.12.110, Mayor Bauch called the Special Meeting of the Tukwila
City Council to order.
LIONEL C. BOHRER, Council President; MABEL J. HARRIS, GEORGE D. HILL,
J. REID JOHANSON, DANIEL J. SAUL, DWAYNE D. TRAYNOR, GARY L. VAN DUSEN
KJELL STOKNES, OCD Director and MAXINE ANDERSON, City Clerk.
Meeting was called to consider an ordinance of the City that had
expired on the day of the second regular City Council meeting in
April. It is an important item and needs Council action.
MOVED BY BOHRER, SECONDED BY TRAYNOR, THAT THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE
BE READ BY TITLE AND THE NEW SECTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN ADDED.
MOTION CARRIED.
Maxine Anderson, City Clerk, read an ordinance of the City of Tukwila,
reinstituting and reaffirming the procedures and waiver requirements
and repealing Ordinance Numbers 1035, 1053, and 1091 and declaring
an emergency. All new sections were read for the record.
MOVED BY BOHRER, SECONDED BY SAUL, THAT ORDINANCE NO. 1109 BE ADOPTED
AS READ. MOTION CARRIED.
MOVED BY SAUL, SECONDED BY HILL, THAT THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
TUKWILA CITY COUNCIL ADJOURN. MOTION CARRIED.
