Hello,
A sign inspection for Dollar Tree was conducted today. The window signs on the east facade must be removed
prior to final approval.
See TMC 19.20.050 F3 which reads as follows:
a. "Permanent window signs are permitted to be placed within ground -floor windows that provide a direct line of
sight in and out of an area open to the public. Permanent window signs are not permitted to be placed in
windows located along private offices, storage space, display windows, residential units or other areas of the
building that are not open to the public."
b. "Only windows along the same facade as a public entrance to the business are eligible for permanent window
signs.
I'm sorry I couldn't advise you of this prior to the window decal application, but the window signs were not
shown on the elevations that were submitted as part of the permit application.

INSPECTIONS
If the sign needs structural review, the applicant or installer is required to call the Building Division at 431-3670 for footing or bracket
inspections. Footing inspections must take place before concrete is poured. Bracket inspections must take place before sign is
installed.
A structural inspection is required for all signs when installation is complete. The applicant or installer is required to call the Planning
Division at 431-3670 for a final inspection.
It is the responsibility of the installer to obtain the electrical permit and inspections from the Washington State Department of Labor and
Industries at (206) 248-6630.
