Sorry for the second email, but I wasn't able to locate a Tukwila business license on file for Evergreeen Sign Co.
With the recent adoption of our new sign code the city now requires that all sign contractors doing working
within Tukwila have a Tukwila business license.
If you do indeed have one can you please bring in a copy when you come to pick up your permit. If you still
need to apply for one I have attached an application. More information about business licenses can be found on
the following website: http://www.ci.tukwila.wa.us/clerk/buslic.html. The City Clerk will also have you fill out a
sign contractor affidavit when you apply.
Once we receive a copy of the business license you'll be able to pick up the sign permit.

inspections. Footing inspections must take place before concrete is poured. Bracket inspections must take place before sign is
installed.
A structural inspection is required for all signs when installation is complete. The applicant or installer is required to call the Planning
Division at 431-3670 for a final inspection.
It is the_ responsibility of the installer to obtain the Electrical Permit and inspections from the City of Tukwila Permit Center at
(206) 431-3670.

Sign Contractor's Affidavit of Acknowledgment
The Tukwila Municipal Code (TMC) 19.12.180 requires that all sign contractors performing work within
the City of Tukwila sign an affidavit acknowledging that they have read and understand the City's Sign
Code. The purpose of the affidavit is to protect Tukwila businesses and residents from sign contractors
who may perform work without obtaining required permits or perform work outside the scope of an issued
permit.

Municipal Code Title 19, "Sign and Visual Communication Code". I also certify that I have
reviewed the requirements of Title 19, specifically TMC 19.12.020 ,"Sign Permits Required," and
