Dear Mr. Peterson:
The City has reviewed the above sign permit for Pizza Hut at 14638 Tukwila
International Blvd and it appears that the sign complies with applicable code
requirements; however, the permit cannot be issued.
Prior to issuance the following needs to occur:
1. Before issuance, the City needs to receive a copy of a business license
application from Apollo Signs. Information on obtaining the business license can
be found at: http://www.ci.tukwila.wa.us/clerk/buslic.pdf. Please have Apollo
Signs sign and return the attached "Affidavit" with their business license
application; and
2. The sign permit application was unsigned. Please sign the copy included with
this letter and mail back to me at the address listed above.
When the sign is ready for issuance you will need to obtain an electrical permit. The
electrical permit will need to include the installation of the new sign and the demolition of
the existing canopy electrical system.
It's the City's understanding that no work is proposed to the existing freestanding sign
located on the property. If this is not the case, please submit a sign permit application
for any proposed modifications to the existing freestanding signs.

I INSPECTIONS
If the sign needs structural review, the applicant or installer is required to call the Building Division at 431-3670 for footing or bracket
inspections. Footing inspections must take place before concrete is poured. Bracket inspections must take place before sign is
installed.
A structural inspection is required for all signs when installation is complete. The applicant or installer is required to call the Planning
Division at 431-3670 for a final inspection.
It is the responsibility of the installer to obtain the Electrical Permit and inspections from the City of Tukwila Permit Center at
(206) 431-3670.
SIGN PERMIT APPLICATION IS VALID FOR 180 DAYS AFTER ISSUANCE.
