INSPECTIONS
If the sign needs structural review, the applicant or installer is required to call the Building Division at 206-
431-3670 for footing or bracket inspections. Footing inspections must take place before concrete is
poured. Bracket inspections must take place before sign is installed.
A structural inspection is required for all signs when installation is complete. The applicant or installer is
required to call the Planning Division at 206-431-3670 for a final inspection.
It is the responsibility of the installer to obtain the electrical permit and inspections from the Washington
State Department of Labor and Industries at 206-248-6630.
SIGN PERMIT IS VALID FOR 180 DAYS AFTER ISSUANCE
