Annex building is located in the Southcenter South Industrial Park just off of Todd Boulevard and West Valley Highway. The industrial park is established with a variety of businesses located throughout the numerous streets within its border. .� �' :�'""`.,.�.� •mss.— s^--��:w-�� The Annex Building for Carlyle, Inc. is primarily a warehouse consisting of 7 consecutive bay doors with a small area designated for office work. Each of the bay doors is 24 feet wide. The height of the building is 30 feet. The north side of the building is attached as a continuous structure to existing businesses on Cascade Avenue South. The south end of the building is the corner of Glacier Street. The building sign is needed to identify Carlyle's section of the continuous building complex. Carlyle has occupied this Annex since January 2001, and is listed by name on the directory board entering the complex. Location of Existing and Proposed Signs The former tenants of the building used a wood beam above the entry to display their sign. This has been removed well before the space was leased. This same beam will be used for the new sign. No structural changes or adjustments need to be made. Sign / Building Elevation The existing wood beam above the office area entrance is 36 inches tall by 20 feet across. The sign will be 30 inches tall by 15 feet across by 1 inch thick, and made of polymetal in almond color consisting of .040 gauge aluminum plates reinforced with a resin center. The company logo and name will be in cobalt blue and plum colors. The polymetal will be butted together in 5 -foot increments to achieve the overall length of the sign. The building height is 30 feet from the ground, and the office area with all the bay doors is 216 feet across the face of the building, for a total of 6480 square feet. 25571 9/10/01 3:44:09 PM Scale: 1.18 73 Height: 30.050 Length: 180.140 in 61'2- Supporting Structure / Method of Illumination The sign will be stud -mounted, flush against the existing wood beam of the building, predrilled with'/4" holes and bolted with 3" wood screws every two feet of the sign. The weight of the overall sign is about 30 pounds. The wood beam is an existing structure which held up the previous sign (removed before building was leased), and no modifications need to be made. In addition, we received the approval of the building owner to install our company sign. The representative property manager for the building owner is Wendie C. Billings of Colliers International Real Estate Services Group, who has reviewed the proposed sign and has agreed to allow us to install it. Note -- there is no illumination. Contractor's License The sign is being made by Fast Signs, 16870 SouthCenter Parkway, Tukwila WA 98188, 206-575-2110. Fast Signs is an individually -owned corporate franchise. Fast Signs contracts with several installers, all of whom are licensed Washington State contractors. The installer for this sign will be Knight Transport, and the contractor is Brad Taylor.
