Description of Incident
Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit (MCU) are investigating the discovery of human remains that
were found by a resident in the 5800 blk of S 152nd PL.
On January 11, 2018 at about 4:38PM, officers were dispatched to the 5800 blk of S 152nd PL after a
resident called 911 to report having discovered human remains inside of a container in front of the
location. Based on the suspicious nature and location of the discovery, MCU detectives took over the
investigation.
The King County Medical Examiner's Office took custody of the remains at the scene and will be
conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Detectives identified a suspect during the course of the investigation. He was taken into custody by
officers in Tukwila last night without incident and was booked into the King County Jail.
This is an active and ongoing investigation. More details will be released as they become available.
