My understanding had been that he would call you. If you have not heard from him, then I will go ahead and request the information on his behalf. 1. When stating that the original contractor left the job, it was not clarified if this included sub -contractors as well. Who is the electrical contractor who will be performing the work? Has it changed since the time of issuance? Is As You Wish Electric no longer completing the job? a. If it is still As You Wish Electric completing the work, then provide additional information as to why they need additional time before having an inspection. b. If it is no longer AYWE doing the work, then we will need a written request to change the contractor on the permit. This request would need to include clear documentation of the point at which the electrical work was transferred from one contractor to another. The new contractor would then have to come in and sign for the updated permit (at which point we would confirm that they have a valid City and State license). 2. When will the electrical work be ready for the next inspection? After having the above items answered/clarified, then the Interim Building Official will be ready to make a decision in regards to the extension request.
