AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA ANNEXING PROPERTY TO
THE TOWN OF TUKWILA UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 128 OF
HE SESSION LAWS OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON FOR 1945.
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Chapter 126 of the Session
Laws of the State of Washington for 1945 a petition in writing,
asking for the annexation of certain property contiguous to the
town limits of the Town of Tukwila, hereinafter more particularly
described, ryas been filed with the Town Council, signed by the
owners of not less than 75 percent in value, according to the
assessed valuation for general taxation, of the property for which
annexation is petitioned, which petition sets forth a legal
description of the property and was accompanied by plat or drawing,
outlining the boundaries of the property sought to oe annexed, and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has heretofore fixed August 27, 1959,
at the hour of 8:00 P. M., in the Council Chambers in the Town Hall,
Tukwila, Washington, as the time and place for Public Hearing upon
such petition, and a copy of said notice was published in the Seattle
Times, a legal newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Tukwi:
and was posted in three public places within the territory proposed
for annexation, which notices specified the time and place of such
hearing and invited Interested persons to appear ana voice approval
or disapproval of the annexation, and
WHEREAS, at the time and place set for said hearing the Council
approved the petition for annexation and set midnight, September 1,
1959, as the effective date of annexation,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of Tukwila,
as follows:
SECTION 1. That pursuant the provisions of Chapter 123 of the
Session Laws of the State of Washington for 1945 the following
described property contiguous to the town limits of the Town of
Tukwila, to -wit:
That portion of Tract 34, Brookvale Garden Tracts, as recorded
in Volume 10 of plats, page 47, records of King County, lying
northerly of the Renton -Three Tree Point Road,
shall be and the sage is hereby annexed to the Town of Tukwila.
SECTION 11. The said annexation shall be effective on and after
midnight September I, 1959 and from and after said date property
shall be subject to all the laws and ordinances of the Town of
Tukwila then and thereafter in force.
SECTION 111. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five days from and after its passage, approval and legal publication
as provided by law.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR CHARLES O. BAKER AND TIE COUNCIL OF TIE TOWN
OF TUKWILA, TUKWILA, WASHINGTON
We, the undersigned, owners of not less than 75% in value,
according to the assessed valuation for general taxation, of the
following described property, which is hereinafter more particularly
described and a plat of which is hereto attached showing the boundaries
of the property sought to be annexed, do hereby petition your honorable
body for annexation to the Town of Tukwila of the following described
property, to-wit
That portion of Tract 34, Brookvale Garden Tracts, as recorded
in Volume 10 of plats, age 47, recacds of King County, lying
northerly of the Renton-Three Tree Point Road,
which area is contiguous to the Town. of Tukwila, County of King,
State of Washington.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant the provision of RCW 35.13.130
chapter 128 Session Laws of the State of WAshington
a petition signed by the owners of more than 75% in value
according to the assessed valuation for general taxation has been
filed with the Council of City of Tukwila asking for annexation
byt he City of Tukwila of the following area contiguous to the City of Tukwila
to-wit:
That portion of Tract 34 Brookvale Garen TRacts as
recorded in Volume 10 of plats page 47 records of King County
lying northerly of the Renton Three Tree point Road
Notice is further given that the City Council has set a public
hearing on said petition for Thursday August 27, 1959 at
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall
and all interested persons are invited to appear and
voice approval or disapporval of said annexation.
