Dear Business Representative:
The City of Tukwila is proud to partner with Foster High School and the Tukwila School District to host our
seventh annual Career Day. Our goal is to engage with a variety of partners in order to best meet the needs of
students and our community. Please accept this invitation to participate in partnership with us as a guest speaker
and/or at the job/college/resource fair. The Career Day will be held on Thursday, March 29' at:
Foster High School

Tukwila, WA 98168
The Career Day is made up of two segments. Guest speaker workshops and a job/college/resource fair. The first
segment is a group of guest speaker workshops. The goal of these workshops is to give students an opportunity to
learn from a variety of professionals from many different career paths. Presentations can range from formal
(power point, lecture, etc.) to question and answer sessions. The workshops will last from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m.
The second segment is a job/college/resource fair. This is a fantastic opportunity for teens and businesses in the
community. Foster High School students will be seeking summer jobs, college, internships, volunteer, and job
shadow opportunities. By participating in this event, you may find a reliable employee for the summer, promote
products and/or services and possibly gain a long-term employee. Businesses can meet students, distribute job
applications, and even schedule interviews. The job/college/resource fair will last from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m.
