CALL TO ORDER: Chair Hougardy called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

A. Crime Map Website
Staff briefed the Committee on the new public facing crime map that is about to go live online.
This is one of the tools that came with the Spillman records management system and will
replace the previous map from crimereports.com, which cost the City $99 per month. Staff
demonstrated the map. Chair Hougardy will report out to the Council on the change and a link
will be provided when it goes live. DISCUSSION ONLY.
B. 2017 4t" Quarter Police Department Report
Deputy Chief Mitchell updated the Committee on items of interest in the 4th quarter, including
staffing, recognitions,community outreach,significant operations and events. In 2017, crimes
in all categories were down from 2016. DISCUSSION ONLY.
