• Good of the Order
• Chris — Community Police Academy, Events: 4th at Fort, Touch a Truck,
Night Out
• Jan — On a King County commission, One Table on root causes of
homelessness. Jan is working on the committee behavioral health committee.
Huge lack of resources in Tukwila for people in crisis.
• Jerry — latest on Public Safety Plan, putting together plan for site acquisitions,
some contracts signed for some of the properties. Fire stations almost done
with design, will likely be the first built, then in a couple years the Justice
Center. Was at McLendon's and picked up a roll of blue tape. Several
communities have provided blue tape to show support for police on rear view
mirrors. Chief had some safety concerns about possible retaliation and/or
confrontations.
• Roger — thinking in terms of the survey, wondered about registered sex
offenders in the community. Was told yes and directed to King County Sex
Offender registry.

• Adjourned 7:55pm
