HomeMy WebLinkAbout2018-04-09 - Public Hearing - Accessory Dwelling Unit Development OrdinanceCITY OF TUKWILA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tukwila City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 9, 2018 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila, WA to consider the following: Updating Accessory Dwelling Unit development regulations including allowing detached ADUs, changes to lot size requirements, parking requirements, design standards and creating an amnesty program for existing unpermitted ADUs, reflected in the following ordinance. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING VARIOUS ORDINANCES AND TABLE 18-6, "LAND USES ALLOWED BY DISTRICT," AS CODIFIED IN TITLE 18, "ZONING," OF THE TUKWILA MUNICIPAL CODE AND ADDING NEW SECTIONS TO TITLE 18 PERTAINING TO ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT REGULATIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. All interested persons are invited to be present to voice approval, disapproval, or opinions on this issue. For those unable to attend in person, you may submit written testimony to the City Clerk's office until 5:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Tukwila City Hall is wheelchair accessible.
