Admin Update:
• Olena Perry finished event flyer for 2018
• Staff is continuing to learn the Access Volunteer Database and discussing what information is
beneficial to be tracking and what is not necessary
• Roles and responsibilities being further defined
• Main Green Tukwila program management is moving to Stephanie Gardner, implementation
and synchronization of communication being Olena Perry
• Funding from Parks Division, Recreation Division, and KCD Jurisdictional Funds
Volunteer Update:
• Signs went up at Tukwila Park and 128th Parcel stated "Forest Under Restoration"
• United Way of King County is working as a volunteer database for city lead events
• Outreach continuing
Partner Update
• Forterra is continuing to host work parties at BECU, attendance has been low
• Forterra had a wonderful event for the Green Cities Summit
• ECOSS has partnered with Seattle City Light to steward the lot just North of the Hill
