Background:
4/24/18
The City of Tukwila has completed 80% of the repairs to the Frank Zepp
(South 180th Street) Bridge over the Green River. This project began in the
Summer of 2017 and includes removal and replacement of the bridge deck,
seismic upgrades, and painting. One last road closure is needed to raise the
bridge deck and for safety reasons, no vehicles will be allowed on the bridge
during this time. This is the last anticipated closure of the Frank Zepp Bridge
and will complete the bridge repairs.
Bridge Closure:
The Frank Zepp bridge will be
completely CLOSED at 7:00 pm
on Friday, May 11, 2018 and
reopen by 5:00 am on Sunday,
May 13, 2018.
