SPECIAL MEETING
In the absence of Mayor Ekberg, Verna Seal, Mayor Pro Tempore, called the Special Meeting of the
Tukwila City Council to order at 8:57 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Andy Youn, Deputy City C|erk, called the roll of the Council. Present in the Council Chambers were
Councilmembers Dennis Robertson, Kathy Hougardy, De'Sean Quinn, Kate KnuUer, Thomas McLeod,
Zak Idan.
CITY OFFICIALS
Verna Seal, Mayor Pro Tempore; David Cline, City Administrator; Mia Navarro, Community Engagement
Manager; Laurel Humphrey, Council Analyst; Andy Youn, Deputy Cty Clerk.
CONSENT AGENDA

(1) Authorize the award of a $2,500 "Tukwila, City of Opportunity Scholarship" to Rodas Negussie.
(2) Authorize the award of a $2,500 'Tukwla, City of Opportunity Scholarship" to Kristina Te.
(3) Authorize the award of a $1,500 "Tukwila, City of Opportunity Scholarship" to Jessica Nguyen.
(4) Authorize the award of a $1,500 "Tukwila, City of Opportunity Scholarship" to Ida Sishu.
(5) Authorize the award of a $1,000 "Tukwila, City of Opportunity Scholarship" to Siang Dim.
(6) Authorize the award of a $1,000 "Tukwila, City of Opportunity Scholarship" to Tasha Hong.
MOVED BY ROBERTSON, SECONDED BY HOUGARDY, THAT THE CONSENT AGENDA BE
APPROVED AS SUBMITTED. MOTION CARRIED 7-0.
