• Continuing- Olena Perry is continuing Access Volunteer Database
• Roles and Responsibilities being further defined
Volunteer Update:
• United Way of King County is working as a volunteer database for city lead events
• Outreach continued
• Target just signed onto the June work party at 128th
Partner Update:
April 21st Duwamish Alive was a huge success.
• Shoreline Challenge, Forterra, 51 volunteers
• Duwamish Hill Preserve, Forterra & FotH, 57 volunteers
• Duwamish Hill Preserve Wetlands & Forest Seattle City Light, ECOSS & Mountains to
Sound, still waiting on numbers
• Duwamish Hill Preserve Native Plant Nursery Common Acre and Seattle City Light, still
waiting on numbers
• Cecil Moses Park, EarthCorps, 12 volunteers
• North Wind's Weir EarthCorps, 10 volunteers
April 25th 128th Parcel, Heidi Watters
• Wonderful event clearing blackberry, old knotweed canes and English ivy. The
Homeschool Stewardship Squad brought 24 people and a neighbor joined in the work
-
party. — April 25 -26th Crystal Springs, McKinstry Construction
• Forterra ran 3 private work parties at Crystal Springs with McKinstry Construction, the
team cleared English ivy and blackberries for the top section of the park. Still waiting on
volunteer numbers.
