Sea -Tac Airport Commute Trip Innovation Grant (CTIG) Program 2018-2019
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) confirms King County Metro's partnership with the City of
Tukwila, the primary implementer for contract 17-206 (GCB2886) that will provide Transportation
Demand Management assistance to all employees who work at SeaTac Airport. King County will provide
$12,500 in. Regional Transit Connectivity Funds to support this program for programmatic costs including
incentives and prizes, event supplies, outreach and marketing materials, and supplies.
The program will provide support to all employees at the airport by offering transportation options
trainings and assistance. In addition, the program will offer employers training and transportation
resources, along with access to a new trip logging/ride matching platform for employees to find ride
match partners and earn rewards for making non -drive alone trips. The program has a goal of removing
an average of two trips/week for 10% of employees (1,800 employees) throughout implementation.
The City of Tukwila will invoice King County Metro quarterly for any portion of their contribution of
$12,500 in matching funds needed to support the implementation of this program starting
March 1, 2018 and may extend through June 30, 2019.
