Special Meeting called, in accordance with RCW 35A.12.110,
to consider a resolution authorizing an interfund loan between
the Street Fund and the Golf Course Unlimited 1978 G.O. Bond
Debt Service Fund.
Mayor Todd, presiding, called the Special Meeting of the Tukwila
City Council to order.

SHIRLEY KRISTOFFERSON, Acting Finance Director, MAXINE ANDERSON,
City Clerk.
MOVED BY SAUL, SECONDED BY HILL, THAT THE PROPOSED RESOLUTION
BE READ. MOTION CARRIED.
Maxine Anderson, City Clerk, read a resolution of the City of
Tukwila, authorizing an interfund loan between the street fund
and the Golf Course Unlimited 1978 G.O. Bond Debt Service Fund.
MOVED BY JOHANSON, SECONDED BY SAUL, THAT RESOLUTION NO. 722
BE ADOPTED AS READ.*
Councilman Johanson asked w by this resolution is necessary.
Shirley Kristofferson, Acting Finance Director, explained that
the Bonds sold for the purchase of Foster Golf Links are redeemed
April 1st of each year. There have been no provisions made in
the budgets to put property tax money into this fund. This
creates a cash problem necessitating annual interfund loans
which creates additional costs. She recommended consideration
of extra funds for the 1981 Budget to eliminate need for inter
fund loans and extra interest costs.

THE TUKWILA CITY COUNCIL ADJOURN. MOTION CARRIED.
