1. Introductions were made. High School Interns Najma Hashi and Rizzaruth Sanoy were present during the meeting as
guests.
2. Funding and allocations were discussed. Board members have allocated funds appropriately to ensure that programs
that are being recommended for funding are not duplications of other programs. The board’s focus is to ensure that all
vulnerable members of the Tukwila community can be served. The board also wants to ensure that all funded
organizations can support and meet community’s needs to the best of their ability.
3. Members who were present reviewed the excel spreadsheet. Members agreed spreadsheet was ready to be submitted
for voting and finalization of the rest of the board.
4. Next steps in RFP 2019-2020 were discussed. Next meeting will be in October 2018.
