HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 0279 - Apply Zoning to Annexation Area of M-2 Heavy IndustryORDINANCE NO. 279 5043623 VOL 3923 PAGE 401 WHEREAS, on 'June 1, 1959, the Tukwila Town Council, acting upon the recommendation of the Tukwila Planning commission, applied a zoning of M -2, heavy Industry, as defined in Tukwila Town Ordinance No. 253, to the area annexed to the Town of Tukwila under Ordinance No. 269. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT GRDIANk:D by the Town Council of Tukwila as follows: SECTION 1. That M-2, Heavy Industry Zoning, as defined in Tukwil4 Town ordinance No. 253, be applied to tn.e tract of land annexed to the Town of Tukwila under Ordinance io. 269 and described as follows "Beginning at the intersection of the east line of the Northwest quarter of the iorthwest quarter of Section 35, township 23 North, nange 4 East, N•M., in King County, Washington, with the center line of South 173th Street; thence hasterly along said center line to its intersection with the South line of the North half of the North half of said Section, which point of intersection is approxi- mately on the center line of 57th Avenue South; thence Last along said South line, which is also the center line of south 180th Street to an intersection of the center line of South 130th Street and the East line of the West 20 acres of Govermmnet Lot 1 of said Section, said point being on the City Limits of the Town of Tukwila as set forth in Ordinance No. 25 dated February 24, 1953; thence Southerly along said City Limits line and the center line of Green River to the Easterly production of the North line of Govermmnet Lot 7 of said Section; thence West in a straight line to the intersection of said North line with the Easterly line of 57th Avenue South; thence Southerly along said Easterly line to the South line of the North 490.00 feet of the South half of the Southwest quarter of said Section; thence parallel with the North line of the South Half of the Southwest quarter of said Section to the West line of said Section; thence iyorth along said West line to the Southeasterly line of 0rillia Road Extension North; thence Northeasterly along said Southeasterly line to the East line of the West quarter of said Section; thence North along said East line to the point of beginning; Except the following described tract portions of the Southwest 4 of the Northeast 4 and Southeast 4 of the Northwest 4 of Sectic 35, T23N, R4EWM thence east 247.29'; thence S5 51'40 "E 142.26'; thence S54 °52'45 "W 203.79'; thence S29 °26'45 "W 159.30'; thence S86 58'W 103.76'; thence S58 °20'50 "W 100.50': thence N8 43'18 "E 467.77 to the North Line of Southeast 4 of the Northwest g; thence East 101.47' to the direct point of be to which tract the Tukwila Planning Commission recommends the application of zone R -A, Agricultural, as defined in Tukwila Ordinance No. 2 5043623 VOL 3923 PAGE 402 iced tor Record Request of State of Washington: County of King Town of Tukwila 415) T J d M.
