Robert showed a brief video to the commission providing an overview of disc golf and explained the biggest hurdle for Tukwila is physical space limitations. Typically, a disc golf course needs 5-30 acres however, small little three to six-hole courses can be arranged too. The commission discussed how adding disc golf at a park to activate the space more is similar to adding a new amenity like a basketball hoop, or exercise equipment. Support was given to look into adding a little three to six-hole course at an existing park. Adjournment: At 6:30pm Scott Kruize moved to close the meeting. Ivan Cockrum seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
