CITY OF TUKWILA
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tukwila City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday,
October 22, 2018 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Tukwila City Hall, 6200
Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila, WA to consider the following:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING VARIOUS ORDINANCES AND TABLE 18-6, “LAND
USES ALLOWED BY DISTRICT,” AS CODIFIED IN TITLE 18, “ZONING,” OF THE
TUKWILA MUNICIPAL CODE, AND MODIFYING OFF-STREET PARKING
REGULATIONS AS CODIFIED IN TUKWILA MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 18.56;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND
ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
This ordinance involves Zoning Code amendments that allow stand-alone off-street
parking areas for municipal offices and police stations as a conditional use in most zones
and that clarify the location requirements for off-premises parking.
All interested persons are invited to be present to voice approval, disapproval, or opinions on this
issue. For those unable to attend in person, you may submit written testimony to the City Clerk’s
office until 5:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.
Tukwila City Hall is wheelchair accessible. The City strives to accommodate people with
