Project Description: A new 47,000 square foot municipal facility for a Police
Station, Municipal Court, Emergency Management Organization, and public confer-
ence rooms with secure parking for staff; additional public parking stalls; and street
and landscaping improvements.
Tukwila has reviewed the project for probable adverse environmental impacts and
expects to issue a determination of non -significance (DNS.) The optional DNS pro-
cess is being used (WAC 197-11-355.) This is a single integrated comment period for
the land use permits and the environmental review so this is your only opportunity to
comment on the environmental impacts of the project. If timely comments do not
identify probable significant adverse impacts that were not considered by the antici-
pated determination, the DNS will be issued without a second comment period.
Opportunity for additional oral and written public comments: Additional mailed no-
tice will be provided about date and times for public hearings before the Hearing
Examiner and the Board of Architectural Review.
Written comments on the project are requested and can be delivered to Dept. of
Community Development, 6300 Southcenter Blvd, Suite 100, Tukwila WA
98188. Comments must be received by 5:00p.m. on November 14, 2018. You may
