Members Absent: Miesa Berry, Mike West, and Dan Lee Staff Present: Brandon Miles, Mayor’s Office and LTAC Staff, Olin Johansen, Mayor’s Office Intern Others Present: None Meeting Start Time: 1:01 P.M. Meeting End Time: 2:15 P.M Agenda Item Notes Follow-Up Welcome and Introductions Chair Hougardy welcomed everyone to the meeting and asked everyone to go around the room introducing themselves. Approval of Agenda Motion made to approve agenda. Passed 6-0. Pending Funding Request-B. Miles provided an overview Museum of Flight, not to of the request. He noted that exceed $30,000. the Museum has already been approved funding for the B-52 exhibit and Veteran’s Day celebration. However, the Museum informed the City of a construction issue, which will move the B-52 opening to 2019. B. Miles noted that the Museum had withdrawn the approved application. City of Tukwila 6200 Southcenter Blvd. Tukwila, WA 98188 Jeff Bauknecht, Museum of Flight, provided an overview of the proposed application for $30,000. The application will support the Museum of Fright, Veteran’s Day, and Santa Fly In. Chair Hougardy asked about how the Tukwila name would be used and hoped it could be used better in the Museum’s operations. Motion made to approve the application. Motion carried 5- 0-1.
